国外节日
将节日这一环放在第一章的目的是为了助于增进对礼品的了解,因为我们知道了历史背景,了解了其中的意义及其节日的典型代表礼品,有助于我们深入礼品行业探讨,其主要节日及代表礼品有:
一、 情人节(The valentines day)
在每年的2月14日,其主要礼品有:玫瑰花、巧克力、小熊及“心”型物。
二、 聖生节(Sant patrick’s day)
在每年的3月17日举行,有风俗说在这天没有穿绿衣服的人可以被掐一下,典型礼品为幸运草。
三、 復活节(Easter)
通常在3月底与4月初之间,典型礼品有:彩蛋、兔子、小鸡及带有春天色彩的饰品。
四、 国庆节(Independence day)
在7月4日为庆祝美国独立而设立的节日,其代表性礼品主要以产品上有美国国旗为特色。
五、 万聖节/鬼节(Halloween)
该节日起源于英格兰赛尔特族人,后被带到美国,其典型礼品为巫婆、白鬼、蝙蝠、黑猫、蜘蛛、木乃伊、鬼树及鬼屋。
六、 感恩节/丰收节(Thanks-giving day)
其典型礼品有:火鸡、玉米、枫叶、水果、牛角、清教徒,其特色为秋天丰收色彩。
七、 圣诞节(Christmas day )
这是国外最盛大隆重的节日,相当于中国的过新年,圣诞节是12月25日,其代表礼品有圣诞老人、雪人、鹿、熊、天使、马槽组、丘比特、红鸟、雪车、鸟屋、圣诞树、圣诞红果、圣诞叶、圣诞树、靴、树裙、手套等。
ON THE HOLIDAYS IN USA (美国节日)
1、The new year’s day-----Jan.01(元旦)
It is a paid holiday for goverment employees.
2、The valentine’s day-----Feb.14(情人节)
It is the day for boys to buy gifts like flowers or chocolate for the girls they love.
This day is important for people who have special love for business the delivery must be effected on time.
3、Sant patrick’s day---March.17(聖生节)
This day associated with good luck is especially for the lrish people, The symbol is leprechaun(小精灵), Four-leaf grass, coin and rainbow. It is also said that there is a bucket of fold at the end or the rainbow.
通常是爱尔兰的美国人庆祝这个节日,有风俗说在这天没有穿绿衣服的人可以被掐一下。
4、April fool’s day---April.01(愚人节)
It is a day with fun. You can lie, You can make joke, to others.
5、Easter Sunday---Between end march and early April(復活节)
It is said the easter bunnies will visit the children and leave candy and eggs with them, It is a day for christlan as on this day, The god goes back to heaven, It is always on Sunday, for business, It is associated with spring things.
6、The mother’s day---The second Sunday of May(母亲节)
Perfume and flowers are the usual gifts for this day, For business, accurate delivery is essential.
7、The father’s day---The third Sunday of June(父亲节)
The popular gifts are cards, It is not a busy day.
8、He independence day---July.4(美国独立日)
It is a paid holiday for government employes , There might be a fire work show in places like stadiums.
9、The labor day---September(劳工节)
It is a significant day.
10、Halloween---October.31(万聖节/鬼节)
In the past children will run to the neighbor’s shouse and knock at the door, saying “TRICK OR TREAT?” usually the neighbor will give the kids some candles them, The kids will run to another house for “TRICK OR TREAT?” now, because of cult people still celebrate this holiday but most USA.

12、Christmas---December.25(圣诞节)
The most important day in western world. It is the time of the year for the families to go back home for family reunion. It is the biggest and busiest gift-giving date . The day signifies the birth of Christ santa claus is the symbol of christmass is just comes for commercial purpose for business, It is the biggest “CAKE” to share all of us live on date, By the way, Never use “X” mas for formal occasion or for production.
