Testing
1) Loading Test
Sampling Size: Level S1
Criteria: : Load the item with 150kg for 4 hours. No deformation should be observed.
Bathtub (Angle Bath 145) with a large inner area may subject 250kg loading.
2) Impact Test
Sampling Size: Level S1 (Perform after loading test)
Criteria : Adjust the leg to it’s highest position, drop 50kg at 0.5m to the shower tray for 3
times. Observe any damage or breakage on the item (especially on the
adjustable legs).
3) Draining Test
Sampling Size: Level S2 (Minimum sample size 3pcs)
Criteria : Each sample test 3 times. Reject if same failure found 3 times otherwise pass.
See attached picture A4 acceptance level.
Workmanship/ Material Thickness
4) For those adjustable legs underneath the shower tray, when they are fully closed they should
be at the position +/-5mm measure from the edge of the tray -See attachment picture A1.
5) To avoid leakage on the water outlet and overflow holes, the area on the back of them should
be properly polished to provide a flat and smooth surface for siphon to fit to. There should be
at least 3mm clearance (fee from Glass Faber) around the hole - See attachment picture A2.
6) Minimum thickness for plastic sheet after manufacturing.
Plastic Sheet before Minimum thickness Average thickness
3mm 1.6mm 1.8mm
4mm 2.8mm 3.0mm
5mm 3.3mm 3.6mm
7) Maximum Height deviation along the edge is 2mm. See picture A3.
8) The waste hole size for Shower tray should match the size on the product specification.
87mm (-1/+2mm) for Shower Tray and 52mm (-2/+3mm) for Bathtub.
9) Angle BathTub and BathSkirt – The size must be control within the tolerance range
The height of the angle bath must be controlled between 420-430mm (see attached technical drawing)
And the screw in the adjustable legs must be 144mm(front), 407mm(rear +/-3mm (See attached
technical drawing). So the total height of measured to the bathtub skirt edge when installed
with adjustable legs should be at the range of 531-547mm.
The height of bathskirt must be 532mm +/-5mm
10) For all the bathtub, the minimum clearance is 130mm (when the adjustable leg fully closed) and
must extend to 150mm (when adjust the thread of the legs).
11) The edge of the shower tray should be flat and more that 3mm downward slope is not accepted.
