2.先听后说，不可急于求成

爸爸妈妈们都有这样的经验，孩子在学说话的时候，先是听，反复地听，然后再慢慢说，最后就越说越流利了。学英语其实也是这样的，即使是学母语，孩子最先学会的也是“听”，听多了以后才慢慢开始学会“说”。所以在教低龄幼儿学英语时，切不可心急着要孩子开口说，而是应该自己先多说，让他被英语的语音围绕，等他能够听懂一些简单的词句并渐渐熟悉英语的发音后，自然而然地会开口说的，到那时才可以。

曲译类

中国菜名中一些非常诗意的元素，用英文实在无法体现出来。
白云凤爪 chicken leg（鸡脚）
四宝豆腐羹 steam tofu soup（蒸豆腐汤）
游龙戏凤 chicken, shrimp, squid w/ mixed vegetable（鸡，虾，鱿鱼，杂菜）
炒素丁 vegetable roll（菜卷子）
鸳鸯馒头 shanghai buns（上海馒头）
雪哈红莲 bird nest red bean soup（鸟窝红豆汤）
百年好合 red bean fresh lily bulb（红豆百合茎）


在以上菜名中，有一些综合了中国历史、戏曲、民俗等方面的内容于一身，用英文根本无法传递其中复杂的内涵，于是只好用所采用的食材来予以替代。而部分食材例如燕窝，英文翻译为“鸟窝，鸟巢”，则让人觉得非常难以接受。

boss，n，老板，音“饱死”。 worker，n，工人，音“饿客”。工人们不要不平衡，老板会撑而“饱死”，工人是“饿客”，饿，不一定死。或者说，饱死老板，饿死员工，与老板殊途同归。


爆笑：法官会“榨汁”

judge，n，法官，音“榨汁”，又音“喳吱”。社会上有种说法“吃了原告，吃被告。”有些法官会“榨汗”，榨原告被告的油汁。法官喳喳吱吱时候，是在纠问式审判，现在是听判式，法官很少“喳吱”了。
