Guide-line for apparel inspection
Initial production inspection (IPI) normally required:
10-20% products finished
During production inspection (DPI)normally required:30-50%
products finished
Final random inspection (FRI)normally required: 100% productsfinished 80% were packed into cartons
If FRI shipment qtywas over +/- 5% ,
Informclients and stand by till clients’ further instructions.
IPI,DPI :
inspection bulk size = produced qty;
FRI : inspectionbulk size= shipment qty;
FRI selected andinspected cartons qty﹥=√shipment cartons qty (then round this number up), if the selectedcarton sample number could not met the requirement, select more cartons untilrequirement fulfilled.
Inspected samplesize = L2 (details please refer to AQL table)
Workmanship checking
Sample size = L2
Critical = 0
Major =2.5
Minor =4.0
Any kind of defectshould be taken at least two photos, one for serious and one for slight. Ifresult was failed due to workmanship beyond AQL, seal the major defectivesample for client further confirmation.
