 Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) sample inspection methods have been proven to be accurate in the long run. However, the quality of merchandise at destination is generally lower then the pre-shipment results. This can be due to transport, handling, change in environment and/or reliability problems. This will be taken into consideration when deciding the AQL level.
 
 Switching Rules will be applied to products, as and when applicable
 
 Switching Rules shall be applied for normal, reduced and tightened inspection
 
 The Inspection Report will detail the Switching Rule applied for the Lot inspected
 
 Control of the Switching Rules, by part number and factory, is the responsibility of the Assistant Technical Managers in the local China offices
