Please be advised of the following requirements for all poly bags/films used and TAPE
in packaging for all customers.


POLY BAGS/FILMS REQUIREMENT
Toys
For toys, ASTM F963 standard will apply. Any flexible plastic film bags and flexible plastic sheets used as packaging materials with minor dimensions of greater than 3.94 in. and that will not be destroyed when opening the package (i.e. shrink wrap) shall be at least 1.5 mils (0.03810 mm) in nominal thickness, but the actual thickness shall never be less than 1.25 mils (0.03175 mm).
General Merchandise
For all other general merchandise with an opening of greater than 5 in must include the following warning statement or its equivalent on the bag:

WARNING: To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this bag away from babies and children. Do not use in cribs, beds, carriages or playpens.
The thin film may cling to nose and mouth and prevent breathing. This bag is not a toy. Discard bag and any other packing materials immediately after removing product. Knot up bag before throwing away. Do not re-use this bag.

French version:
MISE EN GARDE: Pour éviter tout risque de suffocation, tenir ce sac hors de la portée des bébés et des enfants. Ne pas utiliser dans les berceaux, les lits, les carrosses ou les parcs. Este filme plástico podría engancharse cerca de la nariz y boca evitando así la respiración. Ce sac ńest pas un jouet. Remark:

Total Length & Width of the bag – Font Size/ RED Font
60” or more at least 24 point
40” – 59” at least 18 point
30” – 39” at least 14 point
25” – 29” at least 10 point
< 25” at least 10 point

@ The Hole on bag must have diameter more than 1 cm and 8 holes on each bag

TAPE REQUIREMENT
The minimum tape width must be equal to or greater than 2.25 in.
Tape must be applied in a smooth wrinkle-free method. The tape length from each adjacent side and or extending past the corner of the top, bottom or side edge of the carton shall be a minimum of 3.0 in.

揚州商檢局: 包裝薄膜的測試
技術人員會先有個小測試,看看塑膠袋的均勻性.然後在把袋子剪開成為一張塑膠紙.
盡量在不起皺的地方(中間位置),在剪下100mmX100mm(如圖二)
塑膠紙100mmX100mm以筆劃上對角線並取10個點位測量
測量值有兩種
1.平均值------須要達到標準0.00150in(0.03810mm)   附件報告Fail的原因
值0.0037084mm
2.最小值  (10個點上最小的值)------須要達到標準 0.00125in(0.03175mm)

技術人員說每家測試行的誤差值(+/-)會有不同,因為這個測試精準度需要達到1微米= 0.001mm
建議我司的塑膠袋都能達到 最小值 0.039mm or 0.04mm
注意
本要求不適用於以下情況：

　　1.12.1 周邊完全拉伸後，袋口周長小于14in(360mm)的袋子。

　　1.12.2 周邊完全拉伸後，袋口周長為14in(360mm)或以上，袋長度和完全拉伸後的袋口周長總和小于23in(584mm)。

　　1.12.3 額定厚度小于0.00150in (0.0381mm)包裹玩具的收縮薄膜
，一般當顧客打開包裝時薄膜就被破壞。



ps.儀器精準度 1微米=0.001mm

=>Q1.请问以上这２点是从哪来的？？我以前好象有看到过．．．

=>Q2. ASTM F963-03: Bags or plastic film with a minor dimension of 3.94
in. (100 mm) or less. 是指长／宽≤１００mm, 就豁免?????
