HUSI Food Co., Ltd., a division of the OSI Group of Companies, is seeking a General Manager for the Produce Division based in Shanghai, but will be responsible for the two produce processing facilities in the region. The GM is responsible for ensuring the efficient, profitable, and safe performance of all plant activities This includes making products that meet or exceed customer expectations, adhering to corporate, government and customer guidelines and coordinating activities within the campus to achieve campus production, quality and employee relations objectives.

Duties will include:

Assure facility capacities meet the needs of sales demand.
Interact with customers as relates to HUSI Produce operations.
Assure each plant within the region is properly staffed with capable supervisory people. Supervise and coordinate the activity of these supervisory people.
Development of strategic operating plans, budgets, etc.
Act as a liaison between regulatory agencies and the operating facilities.
Maintain compliance to company policies, procedures and regulations.
Maintain open lines of communication with corporate functional heads.
Promote HUSI Produce and its’ operations which may include participating in community activities.
Promote a safe work environment for all employees and encourage an environment of continuous improvement.
Requirements:

5-7 years experience as Plant Manager or Operations Manager in a food manufacturing operation essential.
Excellent communication skills required.
Ability to speak Mandarin is required, reading is an advantage.
Strong leadership skills needed with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Bachelor degree in Animal Science, Business or related field required.
