Languages are but tools, the more tools you have, the more convenient you work. That is it.
I can use English freely, written German and Japanese - I taught myself in the past, and I can distinguish many European languages, like Hungarian, French, Polish, Russian etc. Just tools. During inspections on products to EU with multilingual marking, I can work very easily and confidently. Once one of my former colleague met a problem. a Tesco order marked with Hungarian, when CS told him it was for Ireland, he took it as to Ireland! I would not make such silly mistakes. |
