you are all right,but i think we will to see what number of the carton ,if the number is very small we can ask for factory to amend it at once,if the big number we can remark or reject on report and point out of the wrong

i agree with the view that repoted  in the inspecttion report then report the
director,the finial decision should  be maked by the buyer.sometime ,if the inspection  is  in-line,the defect checkde  we will asked the factory to advance and rework, as we all  know , the  key of product of quality  control  is  in- line inspectionnot final inspection

It's depend on your company which the company is a retailer or an importer or trade industry or the third parts...
For the third parts: remark anything when you found defects. You client will decide it.
For importer ( wholesaler), it no problem for this, but you'd better ask factory correct it. Don't report.
For retailer, ask factory correct it, but don't need to report.
For you, you will ask factory to correct it, after corrected, you should report to HK office. Let them understand you are hard work and careful, responsible...

I THINK IT`S VERY EASY TO SOLVE IT,AS A QC I THINK WE DON`T TO FAIL THE GOODS ALL THE PROBLEM,we will to contrue what is matter and what to inprove the prblem ,the supplier can to correct at once,if the problem is easyly to inprove and the supplier can cooperation to correct,when inspection ask for the factory to do it ,i think it will ok.if the problem is dig deal and not correct at once ,you will description all the detail problem  on report and telephone to company .

As per our PSQS,we do no need report it to the supervisor. Just ask the vendor to correct the shipping mark or reject it.

I have the same opinion as #8 and#9. What is QC's effect or QC's responsibility on site ? And un-expected things occurs  during production might be minor or major or critical problems ,so you should take various of correction actions as per result of inspection and shipment of  permission in-line or pre-shipment,including communication with factory and related colleague.All what you could do is just to assure the quality of goods.That is no claim for compasation and return/complaint from clients.

i agree with #9,the shipping mark on carton is easily corrected.
