Package Product Transit Test
For all carton dimensions as usual:
Dimensions refer to the exterior of a carton, measured in inches of Length x Width x Height. in inches (mm or m)
1.1 Length (L) is the longer side of the opening,
1.2 Width (W) is the shorter.
1.3 Height (H) is the length between the openings on either end.

2。Measure the weight of carton in pounds (kg)

3．Vibration Test Period.
3.1 ISTA-1A For Packaged Product 150 lb (68 kg) or less
Test Duration in Minutes =14,200 Vibratory Impacts

3.2 ISTA-1B, 2B For Packaged Product Over 150 lb (68 kg)
Test Duration in Minutes = 11,800 Vibratory Impacts

3.3 (For ISTA) Procedure
Stop the vibration test half way
Turn the packaging 90º (if possible)
If the packaging is too large, turn the packaging 180º
Recalculate the cycle time
3。震动测试时间
3.1 ISTA-1A, 150LB或150LB以下, 其震动时间=14,200次/频率
3.2 ISTA-1B, 150LB以上, 其震动时间=11,800次/频率
3.3 ISTA 测试过程
时间到一半时, 停止震动
如可能,将包装样品转动90度
如包装样品太大, 将包装样品转动180度)
重新计算震动时间
4．Drop test
4.1 FREE-FALL Drop Sequence
ISTA 1A (150 lb or less)
1 corner, 3 edges & 6 faces
(Most Fragile bottom corner, if not known, bottom corner diagonally opposite the manufacturer’s joint)
ISTA 1B (more than 150 lb)
6 faces
