意大利刀具测试标准(免金币)

在笔者工作实际中,感觉刀具最难通过的测试就是意大利测试,比欧盟常规标准严格很多。给大家参考一下。
Method for the determination of the release test on stainless steel knives

Three consecutive attacks must be done on the samples of stainless steel blades with 3% acetic acid at 100°C with the determination of the global migration and nickel and chrome specific migration on the release liquid resulting from the third attack since these are “objects meant for a repeated short use with heat or at room temperature” (article 37 of Decree D.M. 21/3/1973).

For this reason the determination of specific and global migration is performed on each sample.
The containers used for the test must be made of Pyrex glass. The volume of 3% acetic acid (simulant liquid) in contact with the blade must be 0.5-2.0 times the surface of the item.
Bring the simulant liquid to the temperature of 100°C and immerse the item in the liquid for 30 minutes.
The attack is repeated three times renewing the simulant solution.
The liquid resulting from the last attack is subjected to the atomic absorption analysis for the determination of Ni and Cr specific migration together with the determination of global migration for each quantity weighed.
Ni and Cr parameters are assessed on a graphite furnace atomic absorption analysis with Zeeman corrector, and the results are expressed in ppm according to the formula below. The global migration is determined through liquid evaporation on a platinum calibrated evaporating dish and the subsequent oven-drying at 105°C until the weight is constant.
The weighing is carried out on an analytical scale with 0.1 mg division after cooling in a drying oven for 30 minutes.
The result of global migration is expressed in mg/dm2.
In parallel with each test a blank test is carried out.

Specific migration formula

Q (ppm) = (e/s) x (a/v) x 1000

Where:
Q = result expressed in ppm
e = global residual weight
s = surface in contact with the liquid expressed in dm2
a = real surface of the item, expressed in dm2
v = real volume of the food in contact with the item under consideration, expressed in water g.

The limits for the migration are:
Specific migration: 0.1 ppm for Cr and Ni

Global migration: 8 mg/dm2
