Guide line for all softline products except fabric inspection
IPI(initial production inspection) requirement:10-20% products finished
DPI (during production inspection) requirement:30-50% products finished
FRI (final random inspection) requirement: 100% products finished and 80% were packed into cartons
If FRI shipment quantity was over +/- 5% ,
Inform clients and stand by till clients’ further instructions.
IPI,DPI :
inspection bulk size = produced qty;
FRI : inspection bulk size= shipment qty;
FRI selected and inspected cartons qty﹥=√shipment cartons qty (then round this number up), if the selected carton sample number could not met the requirement, select more cartons until requirement fulfilled.
Inspected sample size = L2 (details please refer to AQL table)
1, Drop carton test for crispness products
Sample size = 1 carton/carton dimension
If products were damaged or rush out of carton, take a photo, fail it and remark.
2, Assortment checking
Sample size = 3 cartons or more to cover every size & every color
If any discrepancy was found, fail and remark.
3, Barcode checking
Sample size = 3pcs/style
If any discrepancy was found, take a photo, fail it and remark.
4, Color shading/lot shading checking
Sample size = L2 (=all sample size for workmanship inspection)
If lot shading was found,
3-4 or worse than 3-4 with gray scale, fail, take a photo and seal representative shading samples for client further confirmation.
If 4 with gray scale, pending, take a photo and seal representative shading samples for client’s further indication.
If better than 4, pass
If color shading was found within same piece, take a photo and count it into workmanship (AQL).
5, Metal detection test for 0-3 year’s products
Sample size = L2 (=all sample size for workmanship inspection)
If one defect was found, fail.
6, Workmanship checking
Sample size = L2
Critical = 0
Major =2.5
Minor =4.0
Any kind of defect should be taken at least two photos, one for serious and one for slight. If result was failed due to workmanship beyond AQL, seal the major defective sample for client further confirmation.
7, Fastener reliability test for product with button, zipper, snap, stud and so on
Sample size = 5pcs / style
Open and close 3 time / PCS, if any defect was found, take a photo, fail it and remark.
8, Stuffing material screening for stuffing products:
Sample size = 1pc/style
If any defect was found,take a photo, fail it and remark.

Over 200cm: +4/-2 cm
Garment measurement: Sample size = 4pcs /size
If over 10% of total measurement points or 3pcs for same point & same size were over tolerance,fail measurement checking and sealed a defective sample for client further confirmation.
Accessory measurement: Sample size = S2
If over 10% of total measurement points were over tolerance, fail measurement checking and sealed a defective sample for client further confirmation.
10, Weighting for knitting products
For garment: sample size = 4pcs/size
For accessory: sample size =S2
(This meanings weighting sample size= measurement sample size)
If weighting discrepancy was over +/-5%, Fail weighting checking and seal a representative sample for client further confirmation.
11, Fabric weighing For T shirt
Sample size = 1 PCS /color *style
If weighting discrepancy was over +/-5%, Fail weighting checking and seal a representative sample for client further confirmation. |
