2. Sr. Product Designer/Product Designer(高级产品设计师/设计师
Responsibilities:
* Idea generation and development.
* Prepare idea sketch, rendering and dimensional drawing.
* Prepare Design Start/Turnover Package, including product spec, design sheet, content list, artwork and drawings.
* Aesthetic control on 3D modeling, cooperate with model shop / SG workshop & vendor
* Cooperate with MAPS D&D team, problems solving in different phases of production.
* Review pre-production products. (Keep track of product function, sculpting, marking, coloring, texturing, packing & photo shooting.)
* Prepare product color spec. and instruction sheet for manufacturing
* Communicate with ES Design teams & Engineering to report project status
* Hold design project kick off meeting.
Requirement:
* University Graduate or Technical Institute Graduate, majored in Design or related disciplines
* Minimum 1 year experience in Toy or related Industry
* Good sketching, rendering & drafting technique (by hand and computer)
* Good at 2D & 3D design software
* Knowledge of toy production processes
* Good written & spoken English
* Good communication skills
* Soft goods and fashion design background will be plus
3. Hair Engineer (公仔头研发工程师)
Responsibilities:
* Draft preliminary hair & face spec base on direction & reference given by Designer
* Work with Hair rooter to support CR & FPR head sample
* Co-ordinate with Model Shop, Model vendor to produce complete model
* Passing on design requirement to Plant & Model shop for hair & face D&D
* Communicate project changes & status with D&D teams
* Support plant on-site approval and give professional comments to support evaluation on pre-production sample.
Requirement:
* University Graduate in English, industrial design or industrial manufacturing/Engineering
* Minimum 1 year experience in Toy or related Industry, has experience on fashion dolls will be plus.
* Good command of communication and coordination skills.
* Good written & spoken English
* Basic drawing skills and design sense
* Detail oriented is a must.
4. Sr. Packaging Designer/Packaging Designer(高级包装设计师/包装设计师)
Responsibilities
* Prepare artwork of packaging, instruction sheet, label or marketing material according to brand style, cost and schedule requirements
* Review artwork, proof or print sample to ensure accurate color reproduction and brand elements on all graphics work prior to release for printing
* Provide art direction to Studio in photo shooting session of packaging image
* Review PP or production samples to assure printing quality, brand image consistency and product packout quality
* Coordinate with packaging team, production vendor and/or printing vendor for resolving printing quality and schedule issues
* Prepare comp box artwork and ensure samples packout quality for various toy shows or customer requirements
Requirements
* Graduated from packaging design or Art College
* 3+ years experience in toys or related packaging design Industry
* Good command of written English. Spoken English or Cantonese is a plus.
* Have Knowledge of print production process.
* Good command of communication skill.
* Detail oriented is a must.
* Able to work and solve problem independently as well as with team
* Good knowledge in operating Apple Macintosh operating system. Familiar with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop or Creative Suite software.
5. Associate Illustration Designer(助理插画设计师)
Responsibilities
* Work from concept sketches to produce final full-color illustrations for packaging and product assembly instructions.
* Doing researches to get information on styling and accurate details for illustrations. Clarify art direction with US team.
* Checking and Quality control on work done by outside vendors
Requirement
* Graduated from animation design, painting or art related disciplines
* 3+ years experience in toys or animation design Industry
* Good drafting/sketching technique (by hand & computer)
* Proficient in MAC environment
* Good Photoshop and photo-retouching skills
* Knowledge of 3D rendering will be plus
* Can command in English written.
8. Digital Imaging Artist (图片处理员)
Responsibilities
* Retouch photo assets.
* Understanding and applying Brand looks
* Understanding project workflows
* Preparing images for archiving.
Requirement
* Expert Photoshop skills are a must
* Understanding color spaces (RGB/CMYK)
* Attention to detail
* Professionalism - must possess excellent client service skills
* 2-5 years of experience in digital retouching.
9. Sr. Illustration Designer(高级插画师)
* 大专以上学历，艺术设计、动画及美术相关专业；
* 8年相关工作经验；
* 拥有深厚的美术功底和良好的设计构思能力
* 热爱插画艺术,有书籍/游戏界面插图设计，或人物角色设计经验者优先考虑;
* 优秀的手绘技能及电脑绘图能力，善长绘制多种风格；
* 熟练使用手绘板、Mac系统，精通Photoshop\Illustrator等设计软件；
* 英文读写流利者优先考虑；
10. Sr. Project Engineer /Project Engineer（高级项目工程师 / 项目工程师
Responsibilities
* Develop, design and translate product concept to a defined product, including project management and resolving technical issues.
* To achieve a competitive product cost by evaluate design, tooling and manufacturing alternatives.
* Co-ordinate information/message, evaluate and distribute to related parties.
* Effective communication to expedite and implement of development/production process.
* Generate and to achieve development schedule.
* Monitor supporting parties and vendors to achieve product development milestone.
* Develop product to meet quality requirement.
Requirements
* University graduate in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
* Over 7 years’ relevant experience in toy field. (Over 2 years’ relevant experience for PE)
* Good knowledge in AutoCAD, Pro-E etc.
* Good command of English. Speaking Cantonese is preferable.
11. Sr. Cost Engineer / Cost Engineer（高级成本工程师/ 成本工程师）
Responsibilities
* Establish product cost estimate at strategic phase of toy development cycle.
* Perform cost analysis for negotiation, design directions and cost reduction.
* Prepare vendor cost comparison and analysis.
* Conduct on-sit manufacturing audit and spot study.
* Evaluate/derive cost differentials of products and processes.
* Participate in cost control program and cost containment activities.
* Assist developing and maintaining standard costing data and cost estimating methodology.
* Participate in miscellaneous material sourcing and cost monitoring activities.
Requirements
* College graduate with major in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Textile.
* Minimum of 7 years exposures in manufacturing or project engineering or procurement in manufacturing industry. (Over 3 years’ experience required for CE)
* Experience in IE field is an advantage.
* Good in spoken and written English and Chinese.
* Good PC knowledge.
12. Sr. Electronic Engineer / Electronic Engineer(高级电子工程师/ 电子工程师)
Responsibilities
* Responsible for managing Electronic toy development.
* Troubleshooting and schedule arrangements with vendors from conceptual to product, and ensure safety and international standards compliance.
* Responsible for the sourcing of critical component, communication with US, vendors as well as internal company
* Prepare schematic & BOM, provide technical support to vendors in production
Requirements
* College or Unviverity graduate in Electronics Engineering University or equivalent
* 7 years or above project experience in toy industry or consumer electronics industry.(Over 3 years’ experience required for EE)
* Knows basic Electronic toy international standard, experience in toy in manufacturing companies preferred.
* Experienced in Electronic design
* Supervision experience is an advantage.
* Good interpersonal and people skills, aggressive, teamwork oriented.
* Good command of English in writing and speaking, speak Cantonese is an advantage.
