ASTM F963 08 Clause 8.8 最后的一段话
Projections, parts, or assemblies
that are mounted rigidly on an accessible rod or shaft designed
to rotate along with the projections, parts, or assemblies shall
be tested with the rod or shaft clamped to prevent rotation. If
a component that is attached by a screw thread that has been
assembled by the manufacturer, or that has been assembled to
the manufacturer’s instructions, becomes loosened during application
of the required torque, continue to apply the torque
until either (1) the required torque is exceeded, or (2) the part
disassembles. The test should be terminated if it becomes
obvious that the part under test will continue to rotate at less
than the required torque limit and will not disassemble.
8.8.1 8.8.1 If the part disassembles, evaluate it for compliance
with the appropriate requirements. If the disassembly exposes
an accessible component that can be grasped as noted above,
repeat the torque test on that component.
