New Version of ASTM F963-08 is Withdrawn
Recently, you received a Bulletin notification that a new edition of the Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety, ASTM F963-08 was approved and published. This standard included technical requirements for folding mechanisms and hinges. Subsequently, this 2008 version was withdrawn. ASTM cites that the document had been published prematurely, having failed to include sections relating to jaw entrapment and packaging film, and is currently working on correcting these omissions. Will inform you when the new release becomes available.
