1. Scope:

Single sampling plan for normal inspection general inspection level II
Acceptance Quality Level (AQL) (Recommended)
Critical defective: Not allowed on the inspected samples
Major Nonconformity (defective): 1.0
Minor Nonconformity (defective): 4.0
For combined inspection, the sampling of each model depends on the percentage of the
model in the batch. At least take 1 sample per model for checking, for the inspection plan is
Special Inspection level or Fixed sample size.
3. General defect classification:
3.1 Critical Nonconformity (Defect) -
Not Allowed for inspected samples
A defect which experience and judgment indicates is likely to result to result in a
hazardous and / or injurious situation to the user, or makes the product subject to
governmental seizure.
3.2 Major Nonconformity (Defect) – provided by client
Any unit having a nonconformity (defect) other than critical is likely to result in
failure, or to reduce materially the usability of the unit for its intended purpose, or
any unit having an aesthetics nonconformity (defect) which affect the saleability
of the products, or as per applicant’s requirement.
3.3 Minor Nonconformity (Defect) – provided by client
Any unit having a nonconformity (defect) that in not likely to reduce the usability of
the unit for its intended purpose, or is departure from established standards having
little bearing on the effective use of the products.
3.4 Other Nonconformity Defect
The following described are those most commonly found, but not necessarily cover
all possible nonconformity (defects). Any other functional or visual nonconformity
