How to improve speaking english?
I do not know how to improve speaking english, sometimes, i can not express my idea exactly, but, i love to study english.
下面是native speakers 提供的一些建议,我给它进行了分类:
第一种类型:材料型。以学习材料为住,包括杂志,书籍,电视,新闻等。
(我觉的这种类型的学习,真的需要莫大的意志力,才能坚持下去,半途而废的可能性极大,不太推荐初级和中级学习者使用,对高级的学习者非常适合,而且也是最佳的选择,因为他们不是在学习语言,而是在应用语言。)
(1) Hi, another way to improve your english speaking skills is to listen to English or American radio or an audio, listen to their pronunciations and also watch english TV. Try to capture what they're trying to say, read a lot of english books, magazines and english newspapers. Good luck
(2) Watch english tv shows!! and buy a dictionary.!
(3) To improve speaking english is more difficult than grammer. watch english channels like BBC or american CNN, also films in english. and try to find a native speaker and talk a lot. if u are really eager and aren't lazy, u will have a result certainly. Talk more! practice is the main.
(4) Based on my experienced.. I am not a ntive english speaker... watch english movies....
and if you encounter words that are difficult to understand and define all be your self.. try to look it up in the dictionary... hmmm find websites that teaches right pronounciation... but all in all Practice in evry aspect will make you better
(5) Use your library, iTunes, or Google to find accent reduction if that is what you are interested in. There are also materials devoted to pronunciation.
(6) There is not trick to learn English fluently. There are many sites which will teach you Grammar and stuffs. Grasp the basics and use the languages with e-friends in English speaking countries. Your English will be fluently with due course of time
(7)Try out free on-line podcasts. They are adjusted to skill level and usually there's a transcription of the whole text you're to listen, so that you can return to it, work on the vocabulary and grammar. You can download the listening to your player and listen to it while going to school or work. Here are some interesting pages, but you can google loads of them: http://www.podcastsinenglish.com/ http://www.lingq.com/
第二种类型:付费型。以付出费用获得语言的提高,包括培训班,私家教师,出国等途径。
(这个途径你得付出money,没有经济做后盾,或者不是因为某种目的而急需这样做的话,好象也没有多大必要。)
(1) Well, I think you can start by watching English-language newscasts like the ones produced by CNN. Then, try to imitate how they speak. Read a book aloud. Devote at least an hour per day to speaking English.
If you have extra money, take some English courses, where you can interact with people and force yourself to speak in English
(2) To speak english fluently, or any other language, the perfect combination is live some month in a country where that language is speak,(example, inglish in england, turkish in turky), and while u live there u also make a course, so ur going to be learning and practice, all the time. thats perfect. i hope this is usefull
(3) Take a trip to America. Or watch some American TV. or you can record yourself and then you can get better everytime.
(4) I would check out your local newspaper or classifieds or even online for English tutors. There are many people in communities all over the world who have either taken a teaching job or moved because of a job transfer that teach English for a fee. Also, you could take an English class at a local college. If you are not wanting to pay, I understand this website helps you to talk to people online through italki. Find someone who is willing to talk to you over the internet (voice chat) that could help you out. If none of those seem fitting, you could always hang out around tourist places and try to engage in conversation with Native English speakers... there are lots of options!
(5) The best way is to find a native speaker/ tutor in your area just look up the adds in your local paper
第三种类型:主张对话型。以创造对话为住,包括英语角,在线聊天,语言交换等方式。
(对提高口语能力 还是比较实用,而且有效的。强烈推荐初级和中级学习者使用。)
(1) By trying to make conversation with other people
(2) Are you a college student?do your campus have english corner? as far as i'm concerned ,it is a perfect place to practice.
(3) Do you want to practice, or do you want to receive feedback? With language exchange, practice is easy, but critique/feedback may not be part of the interaction. This is what I do with my students. I record our conversations and transcribe them. I also record a reading from the net (news article) and critique their pronunciation along with my reading afterward so they can hear 1) themselves and 2) a native speaker.
(4) I think that i have found useful in learning other languages is to find people who are native speakers of that language and practice on them. when i was learning spanish, i would talk to my mexican neighbors because spanish is their native language. now i'm studying arabic and i found a church where most of the members are from egypt and arabic is their native language. so whenever i don't have to go to work on sunday, i go to that church. it really helps me. there is no substitute for experience.
(5) Just talk to alot of different english people so you can learn the different personalities in order to develop your own.
(6) Find someone that you share interests with, here is a good place to find them, and make a schedule to chat by Skype or MSN at regular times, maybe 2~3 times per week. You will improve quickly.
(7) On italki, dont only chat through typing, but verbally too (talking)
第四种类型:兴趣型。以兴趣支撑为住,包括英语电影,电视,小说等方式。
(兴趣是最好的老师,如果你不喜欢学英语,那就除了应付必要的考试之外,就别浪费时间了,不要羡慕别人说英语说的多好,没用,你一般做不到。)
(1) If you think that learning English would improve the quality of your life ,then you have already some motive to dedicate more time for studying. It doesn't have to be every day, you can have your own flexible schedule since you are not obliged or have any marked deadline for an exam. A little self motivation will help you and when you feel an improvement that will motivate you to learn more.
(2) You should watch american television shows....regularly....you should know all the characters...let them be your friends...so that you will be interested to know what is happening to them in the flow of the story.....please study Grammar,,,, English is like a game....you should know the rules in using the language....the title should be....
(3) I improve english when i listen songs , films with subtitles (in english), play games, chatting and study grammar
(4) I suggest that you read English books, preferably something you like, so that you're learning and enjoying at the same time. Aso, search on the internet about correct grammar usage.
(5) There are different ways to improve Your Eng I wanna tell you the way would be more useful. First of all watch the movies having subtitles but for the first time select your favorites. it will help you to learn it willingly but you should watch them several times and later turn the subtitle off watch again for me it is the best way to adopt and learn even it is my way mantained.
(6) Well there is no easy way unfortunately, but if you are lazy and not the type of person to spend hours looking through an English grammar book, try learning English through mediums that you're interested in? I don't know what your interests are; but for example, if you were interested in music, fashion and business you could try listening and singing along to English songs you like, reading British or American Vogue magazine and reading The Economist online. You're English isn't too bad so I'm sure you can handle pursuing things you're interested in English with the aid of a dictionary, and pick up the grammatical side of things on the way.
(7) Instead of forcing yourself to study, learn intrinsically. find a fun way to learn english, such as finding a tv show you like (i suggest gossip girl, samantha who, weeds, chuck, and ugly betty) or find some english songs. if you would like songs, we can share music with each other.
(8) There are people out there who aren't any good at English, and they never will be.
For those folks, I'd suggest studying something else.
As for you: Find something that you can enjoy through ENglish. That'll be your motivation.
第五种类型:生活实用型。这种人善于思考。善于总结和提炼,善于从母语过度到第二语言的学习。属于智慧型的学习者的建议,推荐。
(1) How did you learn Chinese? You weren't able even to walk but you would hear day after day your parents and people around you speaking Chinese. We learn basically, but not exclusively, by hearing. V.persie is right when he says, "reading can make you gain many words". We are "hearing" what other people say when we read what they write. But reading does not give you the opportunity of improving your pronunciation. Therefore, Oliver, hearing is the key. And add to your hearing a lot of reading as well. I do not know what you mean by "quick way". Just be careful about "quick ways" of learning this or that. I wish you all the best. God bless you.
(2) there's nothing easier than to learn English from everyday life. Pay attention to the replies in movies.Or better yet, watch a movie on your computer with a subtitle in English. This way, you'll be forced to try understanding the meaning of the words, and the images will help you a lot. Or you can use this site at its full capacity. Contact people who are able to help you, speak on the microphone, or even in writing. You'll be amazed how easy it is to make progress.
(10) I always conclude that learning a language is divided into two sides, input and output. Reading books, watching tv shows and listening to bbc are classified as input. Speaking with people, writing down something are classified as output. They are different. Input is a process that you comprehense others' thought and explain to yourself. Output is the opposite process that you comprehense your own thought and explain to others. The only way to be more skillful in each side is to do more of it. That is to double your english conversations as much as possible.
(4) Speak clearly using simple vocabulary like a child. Because english is our second language.Of course, you should have some basic grammar knowledge. Moreover,to improve your pronunciation, you can find native speaker from i talki
第六种类型:综合学习,持续实践型。练习,练习,再练习,时间出成果。
(1) There is no any fixed way to learn a language. just follow your own way. time is the best way actually
(2) You have to exercise English daily .... and the best way is to chat with friends in English...The struggle out the best way to learn the language.. .. And after that u can strengthen the lessons of existing in this site
(3) Rome was not built in a day. Everything takes it's own time. It is not that Quickly, you can do anything. You need to have more and more practice. On this site, you can find many friends, who could help you out. You have to take some initiative and contact them. They will be more than willing to assist you. All the best.
(4) The best way is to practice. There are several ways to do this. Listening and repeating is the best way for me to learn a language. I also listen to songs in the language I am studying, watch movies and read newspapers and magazines. I try to immerse myself as much as possible in the language. I also find I learn the grammar not by studying text books, but rather by listening and repeating; the correct grammar flows naturally. I hope this helps you.
(5) Practic, practice and more practice. To speak fluently you will really need to speak and converse with other English speakers on a regular basis
(6) You have to practice everyday. You need to learn to think in English. Surround yourself with the English language in everything, from books, to TV shows, DVD's, music, stick notes with English words for everything in your house so you become familar. Find someone to talk to who speaks English fluently
(7) To improve your spoken words in English...i suggest that you practice practice practice this will help you to get familiar with words, you should also find persons who speak the language to talk with you so you can hear the correct pronunciation of words and also how to formulate your sentences. |
