I don't know what kind of headset you will inspect. I've inspected the handset's headset for two years. However, I believe it's much of a muchness.(ps. The following data should be supplied by your customer)
1) For the speaker, the sensitivity at 1KHz and average sensitivity should be tested.
测试耳机在1K赫兹时的灵敏度和平均灵敏度。
2) For the microphone, the sensitivity at from 300Hz to 3KHz should be tested.
测试麦克风在300赫兹到3K赫兹的灵敏度。
3) Connect the headset to the computer, record th voice, then replay the recorded voice and
listen. The recorded voice should be no current noise, not too low or too high.
把耳机连接到电脑，录一段声音并回放，不可有气流杂音，音量不可过低或过高。
4) Strain Relief.
拉力测试
The connector should not be less than 7lbs.
连接端不可小于7磅。
The earpiece and microphone should not be less than 4lbs.
耳塞和麦克风端不可小于4磅。
5) Drop test 试摔
Drop headset without protection from a height of 6 feet to a wooden board for 3 times.
裸摔耳机3次，从6英尺高度摔落到木板上。
6) Cord length measurement. 线长测量
The cord length should be in a 10% of tolerance against the specification.
线长需照规格书在10%的公差内。
7) Visual inspection of plastic and assembly. 塑胶件和组装的目测
就是看看外观（毛边，胶水，海绵等等）
8) Function test of button or volume adjustment etc.
按键或音量调节器的功能
9) IPC-A-610 Electrical inspection
