Job Title: Product Quality Specialist
Location: DC
Report to: Director, Product Assurance
JOB PURPOSE
Provide expertise and active support to the China Affiliate to enable them to deliver 1st quality products to their market. Be the “face to China Affiliates and Customers” for Quality for the organization.
CRITICAL RESULTS1) A strong relationships with Affiliates, PD&S and MO based on credibility and integrity, and act as the only interface between GSO and the affiliates for quality.
2) Clear understanding and agreement of China quality requirements.
3) Quick issue resolution for quality problems identified in the market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
&
ACCOUNTABILITIES1) Organize and perform quality audits on incoming goods at DC to verify compliance to requirements.* (70%)
2) Analyze customer complaints for quality and strive for quick resolution, involving appropriate actions and departments.*(15%)
3) Follow-up and publish customer returns data and review periodically during affiliates visits (10%)
4) Ensure proper understanding of quality guidelines through continuous education and training of Country / affiliate staff (5%)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but technical diploma with appropriate experience acceptable.
Experience: 5-7 years experience conducting quality audits.
