JCP testing requirement in 2008

Attached with more update on JCP testing requirement in 2008!
1)    ASTM F963-07e1 or ASTM F963-08 as released

Effective for all children products & toys shipped to JCPenney:  

(2)    JCP's Requirements on Total Lead & Cadmium Content
        (2.1)    Surface Coatings
                    Scope = Applied to all the 2008 shipment TOY product                     Limit of Total Lead = 90 ppm
                    Limit of Total Cadmium = 40 ppm                  
                    Test Method = ASTM E1645, individual testing


                           
        (2.2)    Accessible * Materials other than Surface Coatings
                    Scope = Applied to all the 2008 shipment TOY product
                    Limit of Total Lead = 90 ppm
                    Limit of Total Cadmium = 40 ppm      

                    Test Method = EPA 3052, individual testing


(3)    JCP's Phthalate Content Requirement (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIDP, DNOP)
Scope = Apply to Accessible* Surface Coatings & Plastics of all the 2008 shipment products (including All children's products, toys, child care articles, children's apparel, children's cosmetics, and children's jewelry) which appropriate for children under 14 years
Limit = concentration in sum of the specific phthalates shall not exceed 0.1% (one tenth of one percent)
Test Method = ASTM D3421, individual testing
