Tips for new QC's first inspection at factory

Hello, everybody, I am new here, and I wanna know the tips for new QC's first inspection in the factory.
As I will be to my first inspection next week. Can anyone could share his experience with me? Thank you very much !

Just do as your supervisor told you, But don't forget to consult your supervisor more about complicated issues. Don't trust the vendor for the first time, and try to know about your vendors and establish good relationship with them!

a question with me ,i work in a trading company , as we know , the export business is worse than befor, and  the manager require either the quality or on time delivery.what a pity, sometime, i lost my way as a QC people . the goods with quality will hurt our business , delay shipment as well . it seem as no alternative i can choose.

the leader must requier us for that, nobody would like to take more charges. Usually they will blame for factory. I understand you well, we can't attain both the low price and good quality together. Many times, they will choose the former, so just tell your manager the truth. We have no choice!

i got the mainly idea for the first inspection now. thank you all, guys....cheers!

first,check all the stuff you have to take,the QC file,the empty report,some measure equipment,the reference sample,the contact person and the inspection place,the SOP of the client that you inspect.then,you go the factory,get a guy that can help you know something about the production status by and the factory,then you expand your inspection job,check everything one by one,the quatity,the workmanship,the measurement,the material,the style,the color,the packing,the function,some shipping mark and side mark and some labels,all in all,you should  a general glipmse of all the work you have to do,when your finish it,so pls re-check it then leaving.
