Job Title:  Production Engineer
Company introduction:
Our client is a wholly owned subsidiary of FORTUNE® 50 company, which is a famous home improvement retailer in the United States.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
1.        Accountable for ensuring Acceptable Quality Levels by the regulation of raw materials, assemblies, components, and finished goods through routine inspection and audit of assembly and manufacturing processes.
2.        Work in the factory production premise, monitor the production process and report any potential problems and / or abnormality found.
3.        Working with vendor for the root cause and correction plan of the discrepancies. Follow up with the implementation and the effectiveness of the corrective action.
4.        Evaluation of all vendor quality assurance systems, processes and documentation of systems. Evaluations are accomplished by the Production Audit reports.
5.        Monitor all vendors’ quality performance. Assure that all vendors’ quality assurance personnel operate consistent to vendors’ policies, procedures and operating guidelines.
6.        Implementation of closed-loop corrective action process for all vendors.
7.        Communicate with vendors and buying offices any quality assurance issues.
8.        Make recommendations for improving vendors’ quality assurance processes and systems.
9.        Maintain a set of vendor evaluation criteria according to needs defined jointly with the merchandising teams to evaluate present and future vendors.
Requirements
1.        At least Bachelor Degree，major in Production / Industrial engineering;
2.        At least 5 years working experience in managing quality assurance activities in well organized and sizeable factories and/or buying offices with multi-national background; Auto industry or their sub-tier suppliers is preferred;
3.        With practical experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing environment;  
4.        Capable of driving factories to improve manufacturing process and quality;
5.        Demonstrated experience on quality improvement tools such as SPC, Cpk, FMEA, Parato, Fishbone and Problem Solving Process etc;
6.        Good interactive and problem solving skills;
7.        Good sense of product safety and responsibilities; be proactive;
8.        Good command of written English CET-6 or above;
9.        Computer skill in MS office, statistical software and access.
