Position: Quality Manager
Location: Zhejiang Linhai
Responsibilities:
1. Read all emails and reply to all emails on a daily basis.
2. Participate and fly to U.S.A for important customer meetings and trade shows as requested.
3. Ensure all supplier samples are delivered in time for catalog photography
4. Support and participate with the creations of customer quote sheets as requested by management.
5. Print, review & approve ISS documents for all China based factory suppliers.
6. Assist in training new teammates as requested.
7. Communicate with all supplies to help them understand quality requirement and operation procedures outlined by company.
8. Manage good relationship with retailer’s branch office including their Asia side employees.
9. Manage and control departmental expenditures within agreed budgets.
10. Assist with quality/production issues as requested by management.
11. Need reside in the Zhejiang Linhai area of China and responsibility covers as all China based furniture supplier.
12. Manage QA functions with on-site QA inspectors at each factory.
13. Work with QA team to implement TQM (Total quality management system)
- Quality inspectors must be trained to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Establish detailed product spec sheets.
- Spec out packing standards, including paper stock quality and carton strength.
- Review production plan to ensure on time delivery
- Assist factories to solve inspection issues
14. Communicate test protocols with factories when developing the new items and ensure all new products pass lab tests and meet regulatory requirement
15. Prepare meeting agenda for each supplier meeting where PC management will attend. Publish post meeting recaps and action plan with 48 hours after the conclusion of each supplier meeting.
16. Provide management with a weekly project list with the firm achievable completion dates.
Requirements:
1. College diploma or above
2. 30 ~40 years old, at least 3 years working experience in outdoor furniture industry
3. Have working experience on quality inspection or analysis outdoor furniture is preferable, have strong quality management view
4. Good English command in both speaking and writing
5. Initiative, well-disciplined, team work and strong communication skill
6. Be willing to travel
