Infestation
Metal contamination - e.g. pin, needle, staples and blade, etc X
Any sharp edges liable to cause an injury
Missing/insecure/incorrect components
Fabric holes
Needle holes
Insecure seams/stitching
Sizing out of tolerance
Components damage
Flaking fabric backing
Unsecured/too short lining
Visible lining that protrudes
Rusting on metal components.
Shade difference within an item or between items (fabric or accessories)
Soiled, oil, glue, dirty marks, scratch or other cosmetic defects
Visible production markers
Unsymmetrical/poor shaping
Fabric faults - e.g. fly yarn, coarse yarn, nap
Poor printing
Sticky printing
Pattern different from sealed sample
(unless agreed i/e for hand made items)
Poor or loose embroidery
Beads that break/fall when rubbed with hand
Drawstring beads (fringe or handles) fail 50N tension test
Poor binding/piping
Untrimmed thread ends longer than or equal to 2 cm
Untrimmed thread ends less than 2 cm long
Handles not aligned
Handles not secured/wrongly stitched
Buttons/studs failing 50N pull test
Paint layer flaking from metal eyelet/stud
Lose buttons/stud
Buttons/stud and buttons holes/claps not aligned
Poorly stitched/positioned logo
Poorly printed/embossed/embroidered, etc… logo
Graphic on button/stud not horizontal (unless otherwise approved)
Wavy zip
Zip defect e.g. insecure, zip tag, zip stuck etc.
SIL missing/insecure/upside down/wrinkled/dirty
Poor finishing of the inner trimming
Interlining/stuffing thickness different from SS
Zipper puller can be pulled out of zipper head (20N) |
