Restrictions on Phthalates in toys and childcaren products:

Phthalates have been used by toy makers for many years as softeners or
plasticisers to make PVC soft and flexible. Today, phthalates can be found in thousands
of applications in everyday products. They are colourless, oily liquids with little or no
odour and low volatility. Public concerns have been raised about the health risks of
phthalates because of their widespread use and occurrence in the environment.
There is extensive scientific literature reporting the hormone-disrupting effects of
phthalates, and there is substantial evidence that the levels of phthalates found in
humans may have adverse effects. Some research has also found that certain
phthalates can cause liver cancer or reproductive abnormalities in animals.
In the European Union and in some states in the United States, regulations and bills
have been passed to enact restrictions on the use of phthalates in toys and children’s
products. Details are as follows:

phthalate同HR4040针对玩具，玩具的定义就有一个年龄的限定："TOY IS DEFINED AS ANY OBJECT DESIGNED, MANUFACTURED, OR MARKETED AS A PLAYTHING FOR CHILDREN UNDER 14 YEARS OF AGE" ，14岁以下.我想对于14岁以上的东西应该不适用。
但是，首先确定你的产品是不是真的可以标14years+吧；（有玩具年龄界定指南）
至于RoHS,本身是针对电子电器产品的，没有年龄受限的说法，电子电器类（指令本身有列出）都要跟足呀

現在14歲以上產品是否可豁免Phthalates, ROHS, HR4040 ?
對於14歲以下產品.除歐洲及美國外,  那些國家一定要跟足以上指令.
