normally, if the product has the enclosure, then IP class can be available, if not, I think it does not have big sense to prescribe its IP class, so from my side , the motor has not its own enclosure and must be combined with other enclosures, then IP class is not necessary, and only the air conditioner needs it...
so, does this case affect the characteristics or safety of the air conditioner, if not , I still think IP class is only needed for the air conditioner, if it does really affect the air conditioner,then some other solutions are needed to evaluate the protection to the shock or other injuries, and in this case, maybe the IP class for the motor should be considered and required....
