Obtain necessary technical information on fabric specification from NY and advise mills
Monitor fabric test/inspection reports and resolve quality issues in development and production
Ensure all new fabric developments are properly tested per our std
Partner with QA to ensure appropriate assessment of fabric quality
Monitor and resolve non-conformance issues
Partner with mills’ technical staff on how to develop and produce desired fabrics
Monitor/update weekly fabric technical issues chart
Conduct/monitor color approvals for all bulk materials
Technically support dye houses to achieve desired colors
Assess and update mill profiles/evaluation forms
Re-evaluate existing supplier mills and provide KPI
Participation in seminars/conferences/expos to identify potentials
R&D from various reference tools such as Textile Journals, Publications, and Internet
Regular meeting with multi-resources e.g. dyestuff/finishes/machinery suppliers
