Quality Engineering Coordinator Profile

General Description
We seek someone that will profit from our intense, growth-promoting environment.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance/Control professional with 2-3 years proven experience in any of the following industries:
-
Textiles and Garments
-
Metal/Mechanic and Industrial Products
-
Electrical/Electronic Products
-
Furniture and household appliances
A Quality Engineer will provide “hands on” Quality Control Plan design support on assigned programs to ensure product is designed and built in accordance to customer’s quality and reliability requirements, at the same time will provide feedback to the Customer who is buying products from China.
He/she will have in his charge a group of Quality Inspectors, the ones who will perform arranged product inspections and audits according to a predefined Control Plan reviewed with Customer.
General
- Must be detail oriented
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English. Bilingual (English /Chinese)
- Computer Literate. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

Must have good hand/eye coordination (dexterity)

Must not be color blind
- Must be familiar with cleanliness.
- Must be willing to travel constantly.

Have an analytical personality
·
Good Discipline
Specific
- Bachelor of Science Degree (engineering, industrial or scientific degree desired).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a product quality/manufacturing environment.
- ISO 9001 practical and operative knowledge.
- Any ASQ CQE,CQA, CQI or Quality certifications is a plus.
- Experience with Supply Chain Management process and procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
- Good problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to meet physical demands of position.
- Ability to use basic inspection tools such as calibers, gauges, comparison samples, magnifying loop. Other Advanced Equipment use skills are a plus.
- Experience using AQL sampling methods and/or SPC methods.
- Mechanical aptitude in GD&T is a plus.
