测试地毯的表面材料呈环状，背面是网状，有一个216pitch,地毯上每英寸（25.4MM）8根线，1/4英寸（6.4MM）高的3层粗纺毛线纤维组成，地毯每平方码总重是74.7盎司（253g/m2）,这包括表层每平方码重15.4盎司，也可用某些有类似功能的地毯来替代这种测试，并且地毯要铺在每平方码60-8-盎司（2.0—2.3Kg/m2）的海绵状橡胶垫板上。
5.2.1.2 The carpet employed for tests is to be level-looped, woven-through-the-back type, having a 216pitch, eight wires per inch (25.4 mm), 1/4 inch (6.4 mm) high three-ply wool yarn fiber pile. The carpet is to have a finished weight of 74.7 ounces per square yard (253 g/m 2 ), consisting of a face weighing 43.9 ounces per square yard (149 g/m 2 ), and backed by a synthetic and jute material weighing 15.4 ouncesper square yard. A carpet that provides equivalent performance characteristics for the test being conducted may be used in place of this test carpet. The carpet is to be installed over 60– 68 ounces per square yard (2.0 – 2.3 kg/m 2 ) sponge rubber padding. |
