Just do it by yourself
I don't think there has any regulations for QC inspection. Just do it by yourself. Perhaps your line manager told you how to do it, or reminded you must pay atttention to what what. It's too probable. You may find a lot of things that your manager never tells you how to deal with them. Don't worry, just judge these problems by 2 ways. firstly by the customer's requirment or related standard, secondly by the actual fuctions.
