1，If the output of the test equipment transformer is less than 500 VA, the equipment shall include a voltmeter in the output circuit to directly indicate the test potential, and an audible or visual indication of breakdown.
2，If the output of the test equipment transformer is 500 VA or larger, the test potential may be indicated by a voltmeter in the primary circuit or in a tertiary winding circuit, by a selector switch marked to indicate the test potential, or by a marking in a readily visible location to indicate the test potential of equipment having a single test-potential output.
本人大致的理解是：
1，如果测试设备变压器的输出小于500VA，测试设备应在输出电路上有一个伏特表来直接指示测试电压，并可视或可听以便警示击穿。
2，如果测试设备变压器输出达到500VA或更大，测试电压可以通过连接在主电路的电压表或在第三线圈电路上，通过选择开关标示来指示测试电压，或是通过在一个容易看见的位置用标识来显示只有单一测试电压输出的设备的测试电压。
