100g Snatch Test – this method details the procedure for carrying out the weighted snatch test.

1.
Clamp the unit under test so it is firmly held horizontally, at least 1 metre above floor level.
2.
Attach a 100g weight to the cable at 1 metre from the cable entry point.
3.
Allow the weight and cable to fall 1 metre.
4.
Repeat 5 times.
5.
Examine the item for any damage or loosening.

Repeat this test three further times to test all four 90 deg plains to the axis.

200g Snatch Test – this method details the procedure for carrying out the weighted snatch test.

1.
Clamp the unit under test so it is firmly held horizontally, at
least 1 metre above floor level.
2.
Attach a 200g weight to the cable at 1 metre from the cable entry point.
3.
Allow the weight and cable to fall 1 metre.
4.
Repeat 5 times.
5.
Examine the item for any damage or loosening.

Repeat this test three further times to test all four 90 deg plains to the axis.
