之 Fuse (in the BS1363 UK PLUG) 之公式說明如下:
I = P/V.
(Or
Power =Voltage*Current)
I = Ampere
安培 (電流,Current)
單位: A, (mA)
V = Voltage, 伏特
(電壓Voltage,)
單位: V,
P = Power.
(電功率,Power)
單位: W
例: UK 電源 AC 230V (電壓) , Power supplier, 300W. 所以 Fuse 該用
1.9 A.FUSE.
(300/230 =1.3 A,但一般計算需加計安全因素,故1.3A*1.5倍 = 1.9 A.)
BS1363 Plug Fuse 只有 3A,5A 10A,13A 四種陶瓷 FUSE. 故此例應選用 3A FUSE.
Some time when the machine (product) start to use the starting peak current will go higher then the stand by current (1.4142 times), So the 230V will go high to 325.26V.Then the value of the fuse should be using 1.38A fuse.
(300/325.26 =0.9 A. 0.9*1.5 =1.38 A). That's means the 3A FUSE is acceptable.
