Strew本意为煨或炖，被火焰焖烧的滋味可不好受。

时间的整点

甜心！现在几点啦？
B: It’s six p.m. on the nose.

晚上六点整。
在这里 “nose”相当于 “sharp”, 表示时间整点。

Sweet as sugar
非常可爱
You are as sweet as sugar!
“sugar” 和“sweet”都有一种甜蜜的感觉，如果你对某个女孩有好感，说一句 “You are as sweet as sugar!” 很可能就会拉近你们彼此间的距离呢。
